Race For Life Sunday 7th June
Congratulations to the 18,500 ladies dressed in pink who took part in Glasgow's Race for Life. They raised an astonishing £1 million for cancer research uk and Embody was onsite to offer free massages to those in need. Gordon Cunningham and Ulrika Bjorklund were the two brave therapists who got up early on Sunday morning to offer their skills to the runners. Such was the demand for their services that Colin, Embody's Practice Manager, had to put his foot massaging skills to use on the waiting queue.

Balfron 10K Race 26th April
On Sunday 26th April Therapists from Embody Massage attended the Balfron 10K race. We gave pre-race warmup treatments to runners and then afterwards a much needed warmdown and some specific treatments to some with pain and injuries. We would like to say thanks to all runners who donated for their treatment, all donations went Action for Children. I would like to say thank you also to Claire, Noni, Julie and Louise for donating their time for a great cause.

On Saturday 25th April Louise (Guys wife and therapist at embody ) did a zip slide across the Clyde to raise money for Action for Children. You can't see the fear from the picture but trust me it was there ;-)

Over a two week period in April we had the BBC in filming therapies as part of a new makeover series for BBC Alba their increasingly popular Gaelic channel. The entire crew from producer to cameramen and soundmen were a pleasure to work with and very respectful to our therapists and the fact that it was a working clinic. Thanks to the BBC and we look forward to the series GRINN in September. Therapies filmed were Thai Massage, Reiki, Aromatherapy, Reflexology and a Pedicure .......We'll see what that turns out like ;-|
